The Greensburg Tri-County region is looking for an experienced data steward who can become the new executive director of the region’s learning data trust, leading oversight and management of all aspects of the cross-agency data warehouse system and ensuring responsible and ethical use of personal data. This position represents a key leadership role in the region’s learning ecosystem.

Lead a team of data analysts, programmers, UX designers, data- and cyber-security experts and legal professionals to ensure safe and useful collection, storage, and sharing of learner data.
Manage existing, and create new, universal consent and permission mechanisms to facilitate data sharing.
Oversee the creation of a Learner and Family Bill of Rights to inform learners and their families about how third-parties may use personally identifiable information.
Manage infrastructure that enables learners and educators to set up secure personalized learning contracts and help learners carry out distributed learning playlists.
Collaborate with in-house and external data analytics developers to provide strategic recommendations to local education, health, and social service agencies to improve services through data and to monitor the equity of the region’s learning ecosystem.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with policymakers, learning providers, community members and organizations to build trust and understanding around agency activities
